Australis Biological provides specialised ecological services in native vegetation management, restoration, planning and protection. The use of biological control for weed management, and development of monitoring and evaluation techniques to track change in asset condition are areas of primary interest.
He is highly experienced in the use of pesticides and fire for invasive plant management, and has a strong interest in flora and fauna survey methodology and asset condition monitoring. He has worked extensively overseas on a range of invasive species programs including work in South Africa, France and New Zealand.
Robin contributes to national and state working groups such as the Victorian Blackberry Task Force, Invasive Species Council, and regional conservation networks.
