Tony also wrote and illustrated with his own photographs the 'Field Guide to Orchids of New South Wales and Victoria', but died of AIDS in
1995 before this book was published.
His partner, John Keller, presented his orchid collection to the Australian National Herbarium in Canberra after Tony's death.
