Council of Heads of Australasian Herbaria |
As a country school teacher stationed at Cravensville (25 miles S.E. of Tallangatta), gave us probably the first orchid survey of north-eastern Victoria - a series of chatty articles in the Chiltern Federal Standard, 1917-18. It is a pity this "In Quest of Orchids" had not been published as a separate, for it is a valuable district record embracing 53 species.
Commemorated by Prasophyllum brainei Rogers.
