Henwood, Murray James (fl. 1980s-2020s)
Murray did his PhD at the Australian National University (ANU) with Judy West as supervisor.
He submitted his thesis in 1988 under the title:
Biosystematic Aspects of Polyscias J. R. & G.
Forst. in Malesia and Australia
He subsequently became Associate Professor, School of Life and Environmental Sciences, at the University of Sydney, NSW.
His research interests are listed as:
- Phylogeny, biogeography, 5s RNA, plant anatomy, plant morphology, interactive data bases, Araliaceae, Apiaceae, Lamiaceae, Loganiaceae.
- Systematics, phylogeny and biogeography of flowering plants with particular emphasis on Australian plants and their relationships at the world level.
