Born in 1948; died on 24th July, 2016 on Magnetic Island, Queensland.
His funeral notice says: "recently of Magnetic Island, formerly of Canberra and Perth."
His herbarium specimens include a few from 1978, and most from 1982 in WA.
He is commemorated in the genus name: Angasomyrtus.
Angasomyrtus salina was described in 1985 by Trudgen and Keighery.
Originally thought to occur only
in three restricted areas between
Norseman and Esperance, but
subsequently found as far west as
90 km east of Lake King.
