Collections from "Miss E. Kennedy" in NSW are probably Edith Mary Kennedy, and/or Effie Isabel Kennedy.
Edith Mary
Kennedy (1867-1913)
Effie Isabel Kennedy (1871-1959)
Two of eleven children, to settlers Robert Henry Kennedy (1826-1895) and Mary Bozzum Kennedy née Hume (1838-1915).
Edith and/or Effie probably collected MEL specimens (as 'Miss E. Kennedy') at Upper Darling River, 1886-1887, and Wilcannia (no date).
In 1890, Edith
married Edward King, a Qld pastoralist, and they had at least
ten children.
In 1896, Effie married Dr Louis A. Segol (1864-
1908) and they had at least three children.
Miss E. Kennedy's sister Jessie Ann Cotter also collected MEL specimens.
