McChesney, Catherine J. (fl. 1990s-2020s)She was Bushland Manager for Bold Park (managed with Kings Park, Perth, WA,), from 1998 till 2000.
She has been Ecologist from 2002 into the 2020s.
She coordinated the inaugural Bold Park management plan and
assisted in the preparation of the subsequent five-year research plan. She has
undertaken a range of floristic monitoring of Mt. Eliza Escarpment, the plateau bushland of
Kings Park and Bold Park bushland since 2002.
She has analysed monitoring data
to define plant communities, track changes in plant composition and abundance over time,
and relate spatial and temporal patterns to environmental factors and management actions,
including ecological restoration.
These analyses have served as tools to identify management and research priorities.
She has published papers on seed germination and Jarrah forest restoration.
