Nodder, Frederick Polydore (c. 1751-c. 1800)
Nodder was a British natural history artist who illustrated both plants and animals. He was botanical artist to Queen Charlotte. As one of several artists Joseph Banks hired to work on Banks' Florilegium, Nodder converted many of Sydney Parkinson's drawings into paintings and also assisted in the engravings. He illustrated other publications such as John White's Journal of a Voyage to New South Wales (1790) and The Naturalist's Miscellany by George Shaw (1790-1813).
