Paddison, Arthur (1867–1952)
Born ?17 September 1867, in Perthville, near Bathurst, New South Wales; died 24 April 1952, in Asquith, Sydney. Married Katie Pattinson on 23 May 1898.
Schoolmaster at New Angledool in northwestern New South Wales 1892–1914. Collected plants in the district, with the majority of his specimens now held at NSW. Later an orchardist at 'Rotherwood', near Asquith.
Two plant species for which Paddison collected the original material were named in his honour by Richard Baker, Actinotus paddisonii R.T.Baker (Apiaceae) and Parsonsia paddisonii R.T.Baker (Apocynaceae).
