Leptospermum amboinense family MYRTACEAE
(Syn. L. sp. (Herberton), L. petersonii ssp. lanceolatum)
A bushy shrub to 3 m high by 2.5 m across with fibrous bark and bronze young growth. The narrow-elliptical leaves are up to 3 cm long. White flowers to 18 mm diameter are borne in summer.
Distribution: Qld, South-east Asia.

Cultivation A hardy plant for the tropics or subtropics. Young growth is attractive. .
