Myelorrhiza antrea - example of habitat
Doug Verdon, largely out of sight, is collecting thalli of Myelorrhiza antrea from the granite walls of the 'cave' formed by the rocks shown here. This photo was taken on 30 January 1983 on the east spur of Bishop Peak in the Cardwell Range, Queensland. The thalli collected by Doug Verdon constitute his collection number DV5302, now kept at the Australian National Herbarium, Canberra. The person in the white T-shirt is possibly the vascular botanist Ian Telford.
