Old plants produce flower spikes to 4-5m high.
Very small white flowers cover upper part of spike.
Trunks usually blackened by fire, occasionally branching.
Bears a 'skirt' of long grass-like leaves.
Occurs in SA, NSW, Vic, ACT, Tas.
