| Thallus to 4 cm wide, irregular, foliose, lobate, adnate in part, membranous, slightly ridged, pustulate, matt, glossy and sparsely pitted at margins, olive-green with brown tinges; isidia numerous, very small, largest to 0.4 mm tall, often covering older parts of thallus, globose, cylindrical, often branched. Lobes few, to 10 mm wide, rounded, imbricate, undivided or lobulate. Apothecia unknown. Pycnidia common, to 215 µm wide, globose, immersed or emergent; pycnidial gel hyaline or pale yellow. Conidia 4 × 1 µm, straight, sometimes slightly swollen towards ends. | ||
| Known only from the type locality where it is locally abundant on tree trunks together with C. rugosum. | ||
