Thallus foliose, subpulvinate, 4–8 cm wide, 70–160 µm thick, olivaceo-leaden grey. Lobes rotund to oblong, ±convolute with ±flared, corniculate apices, 2–6 mm wide; margins entire. Upper surface wrinkled, ±matt, not isidiate; wrinkles ±anastomosing, ±longitudinally orientated, sometimes almost bulloid. Lower surface naked or with minute rhizines and holdfasts. Apothecia laminal, sessile to adnate, 1–1.6 mm wide; disc concave to convex, brown to pale orange-brown or blackened; thalline exciple ±wrinkled, concolorous with thallus or cream. Ascospores ellipsoidal to narrowly ellipsoidal, muriform, 25–40 × 7–12 µm; apices subobtuse to acute. Pycnidia not seen. | ||
