| Thallus pale olive-green to pale greyish green, areolate and cracked, smooth to subtuberculate, dull. Soredia and isidia absent. Apothecia conspicuous, verruciform, scattered, flattened-hemispherical, becoming constricted at the base, concolorous with the thallus, 1–2 mm diam. Ostioles inconspicuous, black, often sunken, 1–3 per verruca. Ascospores (5–) 6–8 per ascus, irregularly uniseriate or biseriate, ellipsoidal to fusiform, smooth, 70–110 × 30–37 µm. CHEMISTRY: Thallus K–, KC–, C–, Pd–; no lichen compounds detected. | ||
