Thallus pale fawn, thin, smooth and dull. Soredia absent. Isidia numerous, concolorous with the thallus, simple, rarely branched, 0.3–0.8 mm tall, 0.05–0.10 mm wide. Apothecia not seen. CHEMISTRY: Thallus K–, KC–, C–, Pd+ orange; containing protocetraric acid (major), conprotocetraric acid (trace) and ±virensic acid (trace). | ||
A rare, corticolous species known only from north-eastern Qld and Papua New Guinea. | ||
