  Thallus continuous, effuse to determinate, very thin, pale grey-green to medium green, matt, ±smooth to minutely uneven, usually with numerous cream-coloured to pale green globose 30–50 µm diam. isidia; prothallus not apparent. Algae ±chlorococcoid; cells 4–6 (–7) µm diam. Perithecia hemispherical to subglobose, but only slightly attenuated at the base, 0.14–0.21 mm diam., slightly paler than the thallus; apex concolorous to medium orange-brown, frequently collapsing after maturity; ostiole inconspicuous; involucrellum absent. Excipulum 10–15 µm thick, hyaline. Centrum 0.1–0.15 mm diam. Periphyses 15–25 µm long. Asci broadly cylindrical or somewhat clavate, 45–55 × 10–12 µm. Ascospores 3-septate, oblong-ellipsoidal, cylindrical or fusiform, 14–23 × 3.5–5 µm; apices rounded to subacute, lacking a minute mucro; perispore not apparent. Pycnidia not seen.
     
  Occurs in north-eastern and south-eastern Qld and in north-eastern N.S.W.; grows on leaves of shrubs and trees in rainforest. A pantropical lichen.
