Thallus pale greyish white, smooth, dull. Ascomata inconspicuous, scattered, open, subimmersed, ellipsoidal or irregular in outline, 0.5–1.0 mm long, 0.2–0.3 mm wide, with a poorly defined thalline margin. Proper exciple lacking. Epihymenium black, white-pruinose. Hymenium 100–125 (–150) µm thick. Ascospores 8 per ascus, biseriate, transversely (12–)
16–21-locular, (45–) 60–75 (–95) × (7–) 8–10 µm, I+ blue-violet. CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid. |
