Thallus pale fawn, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata black, immersed, conspicuous, scattered, with a slightly raised thalline margin, straight, curved or sinuous, often branched, 0.5–2.0
(–3.0) mm long, 0.10–0.15 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple laterally carbonised. Hymenium 80–150 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 6–8 per ascus, muriform, 6–8 × 2–4-locular, 37–51 × 17–25 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid. |
