Thallus pale olive-green, smooth, dull. Ascomata inconspicuous, semi-immersed, almost completely covered by a thalline margin, straight, curved or sinuous, sometimes branched,
1–3 (–6) mm long, 0.15–0.25 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple apically carbonised. Hymenium 80–100 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, transversely 10–12-locular, 32–42 × 8–10 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid. |

A very rare, corticolous species in north-eastern Qld; also in southern India. | ||
