Thallus pale olive-green, thin, subtuberculate, slightly cracked, smooth, glossy. Ascomata conspicuous, numerous, crowded, concolorous with the thallus, straight, curved or sinuous, rarely branched, with a conspicuous thalline margin, visible as thin black lines, 1–3 mm long, 0.4–0.6 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple completely carbonised. Hymenium 150–180 (–200) µm thick, inspersed. Ascospores 1 per ascus, hyaline to pale brown, usually straight, rarely curved, partly muriform, c. 16–22 × 2–4-locular, (90–) 102–130 × (12–) 14–17 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Hirtifructic acid (major), ß-orsellinic acid (minor), atranorin (trace). |

Corticolous in north-eastern Qld; known only from the type locality. | ||
