Thallus off-white, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata black, numerous, crowded, semi-immersed to sessile, conspicuous, straight, curved or sinuous, rarely branched, sometimes becoming sulcate, with a negligible thalline margin, 1–4 mm long, 0.10–0.25 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple apically to laterally carbonised. Hymenium 125–150 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, muriform, 4–6 × 2–3 (–4)-locular, (20–) 25–35 × (11–) 13–15 µm, I+ blue-violet. CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid. |

Corticolous in eastern Qld; also in Costa Rica, India, Thailand and Micronesia. | ||
