Thallus off-white, smooth, dull. Ascomata numerous, conspicuous, scattered, sulcate, sessile, straight, curved or sinuous, occasionally branched, 2–5 (–7) mm long, 0.25–0.50 mm wide, covered by a thin thalline veil. Proper exciple thick, completely carbonised. Hymenium 150–200 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 4–6 per ascus, irregularly biseriate, (20–) 24–28 × 2–3-locular, the terminal locules muriform, (90–) 100–145 × 12–16 µm, I+ blue.

CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected.

     
  A corticolous species in north-eastern Qld; also in Brazil and the Caribbean.
