Thallus off-white to pale olive-green, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata sessile, conspicuous, off-white, straight, curved or sinuous, very rarely branched, with a thalline margin, 1–6 (–10) mm long, 0.3–0.5 (–0.6) mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple brown to orange-brown, complete, rarely open just at the base. Hymenium 125–175 µm thick, I+ blue. Ascospores 8 per ascus, transversely 15–24-locular, 80–95 × 10–11 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Stictic acid. |

A corticolous species in eastern Qld and north-eastern N.S.W.; also in India, Thailand, Indonesia and the Solomon Islands. | ||
