  Thallus pale fawn. Ascomata whitish, conspicuous, sessile, numerous, scattered, slightly sulcate, curved or sinuous, often branched, 1–5 (–8) mm long, 0.4–0.6 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple reddish brown, entire, sometimes poorly defined. Hymenium 150–180 µm thick. Ascospores 2–4 per ascus, pale brown, 16–20 × 2–7-locular, 80–100 × (20–) 25–37 µm.
CHEMISTRY: Stictic acid.
     
  Occurs on bark in eastern Qld and north-eastern N.S.W.; also in India, Indonesia, Christmas Island, the Philippines and the Solomon Islands.
