| Thallus pale fawn, thin, smooth, glossy. Ascomata conspicuous, scattered, sessile, open, straight, curved or sinuous, often branched, terminally acute, with a thin thalline margin, 2–4 (–6) mm long, 0.15–0.25 mm wide. Disc black, white-pruinose. Proper exciple apically carbonised. Hymenium 100–125 µm thick, inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, overlapping-uniseriate, pale brown, 4-locular, 17–20 × 6–8 µm. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |
