  Thallus pale fawn to pale greenish fawn, thin, smooth, glossy. Ascomata scattered or clustered, sessile, open, linear to oval or irregular in outline, 1–3 mm long, 0.3–0.6 mm wide, lacking a thalline margin. Disc black, densely white-pruinose. Proper exciple laterally carbonised, becoming slightly sulcate. Hymenium 140–180 µm thick. Ascospores 1 per ascus, pale brown (occasionally remaining hyaline), densely muriform, 40–75 × 14–18 µm.
CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected.
     
  An uncommon, endemic, corticolous species in northern W.A. and eastern Qld.
