Thallus pale fawn to pale reddish brown, smooth, glossy. Ascomata inconspicuous, scattered, sessile, straight, curved or sinuous, occasionally branched, 2–6 mm long, 0.3–0.5 mm wide; lips slightly open, exposing the black epruinose disc. Proper exciple conspicuously apically to laterally carbonised. Ascospores 1 per ascus, pale brown, densely muriform, 80–100 ×
24–30 µm. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |

Very rare on bark in north-eastern Qld. Reported for the first time from Australia; also in Malaysia. | ||
