| Thallus brownish to olive-green, lacking pseudocyphellae, corticate. Ascomata solitary, subglobose, erumpent from the substratum, the sides often partly covered by the thallus, c. 0.4–0.7 mm diam. Ascomatal wall with crystals, to 200 μm thick; ostiole apical, pale. Hamathecium not inspersed with oil droplets, IKI+ orange. Ascospores 8 per ascus, irregularly biseriate, muriform, with c. 8 rows of c. 3–8 locules, fusiform, with rounded ends, grey to brown, 33–45 × 11–16 μm; lumina rounded to somewhat angular. CHEMISTRY: No substances detected. |
