Thallus pale fawn, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata immersed in scattered subhemispherical stromata; stromata 1–2 mm diam.; lirellae rounded to irregular in outline, 0.2–0.4 mm wide. Disc faintly white-pruinose. Proper exciple indistinct, non-carbonised. Hymenium 100–130 µm thick. Ascospores 8 per ascus, pale brown, (7–) 8–10-locular, (25–) 30–36 × 7–8 µm. CHEMISTRY: Stictic acid. |

A very rare, endemic species known only from the type specimen from Qld (precise locality unknown). | ||
