  Thallus green to yellowish or brown, smooth to somewhat bullate. Ascomata aggregated, immersed in pseudostromata. Pseudostromata immersed in the thallus or only slightly raised, whitish to dark brown. Hamathecium inspersed or not. Ascospores 3-septate, 20–25 × 7–10 μm.
CHEMISTRY: Thallus and pseudostromata UV–, K–; no substances detected.
     
  Occurs on bark in eastern Qld, eastern N.S.W. and Tas. Mainly pantropical and subtropical in dense, lowland forest.
