Getting here and parking
The Australian National Botanic Gardens is located on Clunies Ross Street, Acton, at the foot of Black Mountain within 30 minutes walk from Civic, Canberra's central business district.
Getting here by bus
There is a range of bus options to get you to the gardens depending on when you want to travel.

See the Google maps bus directions to find the quickest route.During the week ACTION bus route 3 runs through the Australian National University, along Daley Road, and stops close to the gardens. The closest stop is on Daley Road, across from Burton and Garran residential halls. A short 10 minute walk, along Daley Road to the round-about, then up Dickson Road towards Black Mountain will bring you to Clunies Ross Street and the Gardens entrance (see Google Maps Directions).
Parking
Parking is available onsite in the main carpark.
Fees for each vehicle are $3.40 per hour to a maximum of $14.00 for parking for one day.
Financial members of the Friends of the ANBG receive a free annual parking permit with a 3 hour limit per day.
Customers of the Botanical Bookshop receive 30 minutes free parking in four designated car parking spaces near the Visitor Centre - there are two spaces in the northern carpark, and two spaces in the southern carpark.
Disabled Access Parking
There are four disabled access car parking spaces in the top northern end of the main carpark, close to the Visitor Centre and Floresco in the Gardens Cafe, and three located at the rear of the Crosbie Morrison building.
Coach Parking
Free coach parking is available in the main carpark.
